The meadow garden in the city is designed to evoke the prairie and its plants. The meadow garden in the country may also be a slice or it may be a larger restoration where we are seeding and working to regenerate the native ecosystem. In each meadow you will find some of the same plants, fulfilling critical pollinator roles and offering habitat and food to insects, birds and animals. As in the prairie, plants intermingle and there are generally no sharp delineations. It is a garden with a very natural feel, which becomes stronger in a breeze or the drifting snow.
