Sophia is a Miami-native who began her plant path with the desire to become a farmer. She has a BS in Horticultural Sciences and specialization in Organic Crop Production. Through curiousity and opportunity, Sophia has delved into several plant-related fields including herbalism, permaculture, interior horticulture, education and landscape design. She believes backyards are (mostly) untapped resources for food, medicine and wildlife habitat and hopes to change that.
